It's been a month since I stopped eating dairy. I've lost 5 pounds.

One would think the weight is coming off because I'm not eating cheese, cookies, bagels, candy etc. But I know the real reason I've been losing weight...

NO MORE SUGARY CEREAL.

Somehow soy milk on cereal just isn't as satisfying. And 99% of my favorite cereals have dairy in them. So I've been without... and left with things like toast, oranges and apples w/peanut butter for breakfast and dessert.

No real complaints here... it's just a bummer to have a limited pant selection again. Of course this time it's because they're all falling off my butt.

Life is just so hard :)

5 pounds! Wow. I just can't live without cheese unfortunately. I commend you.

Living without cheese has been hard. My staple lunch/dinner/snack was always cheese and crackers, or pizza, or cheese and some ham, or chsee and apples, etc. So yeah... I really miss goat cheese, gorgonzola and string cheese. And really every other cheese too - but again, I'm not getting sick all the time, so it's worth going without.
