Wedding Marathon

The June wedding marathon is coming to an end, although this weekend's will be the most exhausting of them all.

The marathon started out slow, just the bachelor party and the wedding itself.
Then the pace started to pick up for the next weekend with the bachelor/bachelorette parties, the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding and two receptions.

This weekend is the crowning glory of wedding involvement - not only did I plan a bridal shower and the bachelorette party, but I'm also in the wedding, helping set up, participating in the rehearsal, going to the rehearsal dinner, and being the moral support of the entire weekend. I'm unbelievably excited, but I know how exhausting weddings are and I'm just praying that I have enough energy to make it through the 4 day whirlwind of activity. This summer has been so busy so far, I don't know how much longer I can last at this level of activity.

I only have a week and a half of my class left, and one week of work after that. I have an interview tomorrow at Seattle University, so I'll find out in a couple weeks whether or not I have a job waiting for me when I finish school.

I wish Jon and I had a vacation to look forward to. My class schedule got in the way of our family vacations this year. We're going camping in mid-August, which will be fun, but I want a real vacation. We've talked about going somewhere in December for our one year anniversary, but we don't want to plan anything until we know what my income will be.

Wish me luck this weekend :)
