Goal weight #1 appeared on the scale this morning.

When Jon and I got married, I weighed 148 lbs.
Today when I stepped on the scale, I saw significantly lower numbers. 18 lbs lower...

It's only taken me two and a half years to get to this point.
My end goal is yet to be met. But I'm feeling good, and motivated.

Maybe we can work it out...

I am embarrassed to admit this, as it only adds to my ever expanding old lady credentials, but I LOVE doing workout videos.

Netflix "Watch It Now" has a ton of great Pilates workouts, and they are perfect for those nights when I'm too tired/cold/lazy/etc to go to the gym, but still want to move.

Recently, I've started doing the Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred DVD. As annoying as she is, the workout is amazing and it's only 20 minutes long! I've definitely been seeing results - and if I just mute the video and turn on some music, it's perfect.

Anyways, I've still been losing some weight and working hard to eat balanced meals - It's hard to get enough protein without being able to eat cheese, yogurt, milk, etc! At this point, I'm only 2 lbs away from the weight listed on my drivers license (which I have never actually weighed, at least not since I've lived in WA, heh heh), so I'm pretty happy about that. All those super lame workout videos are starting to pay off :)

Jon and I hiked Wallace Falls this morning.

We only made it to the lower falls, as Brian ended up in Seattle much earlier than planned. He was supposed to take a friend to the airport this morning to catch a flight from PDX to SEA to Germany. Unfortunately, they ended up having to skip the middle man (PDX) and drive him to Seattle to catch his international flight.

Good thing Brian was already planning on coming up to Seattle today.

Currently, the boys have Jon's truck pulled apart and are working on replacing the heater core. I am so impressed with my brother's car repair skills.

I'm making them steak for dinner as a thank you for a job well done.

And then I'm going to watch my newly purchased New Moon dvd. Shameful? Yes. But I still love it :)
