A co-worker and I went to Plum Bistro, a vegan restaurant in Seattle, for lunch today.
Oh goodness, it was TASTY.
Now, by no means am I a vegan. However, vegan food is 100% dairy-free, which makes it one of the easiest ways for me to eat out without having to ask about every single ingredient in every single dish! From what I've found, most restaurants have maybe one vegan item on the menu, but if they DO have a vegan item, regardless of whether or not it sounds appealing to me, I order it to avoid getting sick.
To go to a resturant where I could order EVERY SINGLE ITEM ON THE MENU was so wonderful! And my fried tempeh, avocado, carmelized onion, cilantro, and chipotle mayo sandwich on rye bread was kick-ass.
If only I knew about this place sooner, I might have reconsidered leaving SU.
(Bwahaha, just kidding. But I'll definitely be back! I didn't get to try out their dessert menu!)
