My sewing projects have fallen by the wayside since I started school. I'm definitely looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas break, and having some time to catch up on the many things I've set aside over the last few months.

In all honesty, I'm just hoping for crazy snow storms again so I get some extra vacation time to work on my projects, do puzzles, and to have an excuse to not leave my house! :)

My birthday is in a couple weeks, so this weekend my parents and grandparents are coming up to visit! My grandparents haven't been up here since my birthday last year, so I'm really looking forward to seeing them and showing them our new house!

I was hoping to have our guest room ready by this weekend - but it's just not going to happen. I found the PERFECT inspiration for what I wanted the room to look like, but I've had the hardest time finding a quilt similar to the one shown. Maybe I'll make one...



Anyways, once I get moving on the guest room, I'll have to post some before and after pictures.
