Wedding Weekend

Thankfully, I've had a good six months of recovery from the last wedding marathon I participated in. This upcoming weekend (as in starting today) is Josh and Sarah's wedding and surrounding festivities.

Honestly, I'm excited to finally see them get married. Josh and Sarah have been together for four and a half years, and I think they were ready to get married about four years and five months ago. So it's been a long time coming for them. Sarah is the last of the Hunt children to get married, and I guarantee this is going to be a very emotional wedding, especially for her parents.

With all the crazy snow/ice we've been having, the bachelorette party has been planned and replanned several times to accommodate the hazardous road conditions. We're now going to be celebrating down in Puyallup, which is were the wedding is being held. Thankfully, my work was closed today because of the ice, so I will be able to get down to Puyallup before rush hour, and hopefully before the temperature drops any farther. I absoultly love the snow, but I remember how afraid I was of having a weekend like this for my wedding last year. It's supposed to snow on Sunday, and we're all praying that it won't for the sake of Josh and Sarah's wedding. It's such an important event in their lives and of course it's imporatant for all of your loved ones to be there for it.

Anyways, I need to keep packing so Jon and I will be ready to hit the road as soon as he gets home. Wish us luck!
